Last week at school, Kasey's class sponsored a lemonade stand. They each apply for a job and have to show the teachers what they can do. They are then picked for a certain job. Here is Kasey with his friend Adriana. Most of Kasey's friends are girls...go figure.
Kasey was picked for the job of bus boy. Quite ironic since I can't get Kasey to pick up or clean ANYTHING EVER in our house.
They have waiters/waitresses, hostesses, bus boys, cooks, and managers. They actually give you a bill too and give you change. You can order hot dogs, lemonade, chips and cookies. They even had menus. I think it's a great learning experience. Jordan did this also in kindergarten since they had the same teacher.
This table was reserved for Kasey's family. I was the only one who could come but Kasey couldn't WAIT until I got there...or so he said.
Kasey's teacher Mrs. Lessa. Ms Lessa has had both my boys for kindergarten. When I left that day she asked if I had any more to send her. I guess that's a good thing and it means she liked working with my boys. We love Ms. Lessa!!!
Here is Kasey's application. I think it's dang cute. My baby is now
officially going into first grade. No more 1/2 days, he will be riding
the bus with Jordan next year and be gone ALL day. He says he's a little
nervous to be away from me that long. I think he'll get used to it.
Here is Jordan doing his lemonade stand. He was a cook. He looks so little to me. Both my boys are growing up so fast.
