A Visit From and Old Friend

 I had a visit from an old friend a couple of weeks ago. A friend I met freshman year in college at BYU. After his mission, we hung out in Provo for a little bit. I even visited him in Georgia. But it's been around 23 years since I've seen him. Since then, he got married and has 3 beautiful children. I had the chance to meet his wife and kids and they are wonderful.

It was great to go back in time, look at pictures and talk about experiences. It was a great time. I'm so glad he came to visit!! Tony and I have always been kindred souls. When we met at BYU, we always felt like we could be "ourselves" with each other. After all these years, I still feel the same way.

When I had cancer, he sent me chocolates! Thanks Tony for being who you are and for keeping our friendship going. :)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My Nephews Matthew and Adam (don't have a pic of Adam yet) are wearing pink on their uniforms in honor of me and Breast Cancer awareness month. I'm proud of both these boys who work hard in school, sports and church,... and are good kids! As now they are getting to be old teenagers it's hard to tell them how I feel about them these days. I wouldn't want to embarrass them. But, I love them just as I did when they were little and I can still remember holding them on my lap.

Thanks boys for supporting me and the cause!! Love you both!

1st Day of School

 Just getting to the 1st day of school pictures. Ugh! Jordan started 4th grade and Kasey started 2nd. I cannot believe how big my boys are getting. Stop time!

Kasey's backpack was so heavy, he could barely lift it. Ha!
