Jordan Crosses Over
Jordan crossed over from Cub scouts to Boy Scouts tonight. He has worked really hard to get here and earn his arrow of Light. He had lots of support from Scott who does everything he can to help the boys succeed.
Mayor Fung was there. These boys have been together for 5 years. Hard to believe.
Jordan lighting the candle for Justice
Jordan pinning me.
Crossing over the bridge literally.
Papa congratulation him.
Jordan continuing the tradition of his nephews before him by signing the bridge after crossing.
The family who came to support.
After they cross, the boys from his new troop put on their nekerchief and hat. I loved this tradition. Great job Jordan. We are so proud of you and your accomplishments. Continue on your path of success!

The Fisher King
My boys went on a scout campout a few weeks ago. They have been asking and asking....and asking, to go fishing. Well they finally got to do it. I must say they did AWESOME! Here is Kasey's little guy.
Jordan caught quite a few little guys.
They also built some "stuff"
...and Jordan entered the pie eating contest!
And then, Jordan caught the monster of all fishes that weekend...a Large Mouth Bass. BIG fish huh? Look out Ernie and Aaron, you might have some competition on your hands.
He had a great time! He absolutely loves scouts and so does Kasey This was Kasey's first scout camp out and he came home very excited about all the things he got to do.

It's Official
It's official. I now have two cub scouts. A Tiger and a Bear! Kasey has been waiting for this day for two years. Dreaming of the time when he could do all the things Jordan does in scouts! He was so excited to get dressed.
After he put on his uniform (which is really three sizes too big) and making sure it was "perfect", I just couldn't help smiling. He looked so cute and tiny in his outfit. Of course when I told him why I was so excited, he told me he did NOT look "cute" because that term is apparently used to describe babies.
After their first Pack meeting for the year, Kasey screamed in the car and said "oh my gosh I LOVE SCOUTS mommy!!!
This past weekend they went on their first camp out with the pack for the year. I don't think Jordan was too excited to now be sharing the time with daddy with his little brother, but they had a good time. Unfortunately, they both came back sick. :(
Here's to another fun and busy year of scouting!!

Scout camp with Daddy
Jordan went on his first Scout campout with Daddy on Columbus day weekend. We are usually away leaf peeping so he didn't get to go last year. He LOVED it. Jordan loves camping! They did a lot of fun things. They played a little kick ball. They also went on a hike which was very long as Jordan puts it, but way fun.
They stopped at a dam and played in the water.
Jordan found this walking stick on the hiking trail. Isn't it cool? Sadly, we had to leave it there. Here's all the scouts who went. Jordan loves it all. I'm so glad he is involved in something he just loves to do.
