Adventure Park

During our Cape Cod vacation week, we went to the Adventure Park in Connecticut. Way too expensive but way fun!! Here we go...

I'm telling you, these courses were tough! After just one I was dieing. My kids kept saying, "you can do it". Ugh. Very hard on you physically and it added to my aches and pains. BUT the kids had a blast. Jordan is really high up here and he is not spread eagle on purpose. Good job buddy.

Then he fell. There is no one to come get you if you fall, they just talk you through how to use your own skills/strength to get back up. This is Jordan trying to hang on right before he had to let go. He got himself up again though.

The courses were all color coded. Purple, yellow, green, blue and black. I did 2 yellows and a green and I was bushed. Kasey and Jordan did a blue, two greens and a yellow. Scott was the only one who did a black and there is no way anyone else could of I think. Even as strong as Scott is, he had trouble.

At the end of the day, we were exhausted, Mark and Jordan got hurt, but we all had a good time.Jordan actually came down the wrong way on a rope and burned and cut 4 of his fingers. We brought him to 1st aid and he almost passed out because he was in so much pain. BUT he wants to go again. Way to get back up on the horse again.

Cape Cod 2014

Another Fun year at Cape Cod. Scott has been dying to get a kayak....and he finally pulled the trigger! You deserve it Scottie!

The weather wasn't the best for a few days but that's okay, we always have the indoor pool.

Not sure how my mom sits in that heavy sweatshirt in 80 degrees but...I had picked her a flower and she put it in her shoe. Miss you every day mom!!

Another good year. This year we also trekked up to Provincetown Cape Cod, always an experience!

At the beginning of the summer we had a chance to go to my friend Kat's house to play with all her water toys and hang with my besties. Jordan had a blast on the paddle board. It was difficult for him since it was a VERY windy day. Shelley had to go get him the first time but after that, he was good to go.

As you can see by the waves, the wind was not letting up. Jordan had to work hard to stay in the cove. But he did it.

He then went kayaking. I was a little nervous about him going alone with the wind. I cut the strings a little here.!!

Kasey didn't want to do a lot of the stuff. Not sure why. Here he is getting ready to go out with Kathy on her little boat.

Happy birthday Scotty

This guy turned 43. Doesn't he look 1/2 his age? We made daddy a cake and Jordan painted him a picture. My boy has skills. We love this guy like crazy. He's a great example to his boys and a terrific husband! Happy birthday sweetie!

Memorial Day memories

For memorial day this year we went down to the NYC to spend time with the fam! First day, we went riding our bikes along the Bronx river. To catch crayfish

We Went on a picnic on one of the days.

Competition!! The second day we went biking in Central Park. It was a pain getting there but I loved it. I've always wanted to do it. It was hot and crowded but the park is amazing. We then let the kids climb on the HUGE boulders they have there. We finished off riding go carts. I have pictures of that and the Central park biking but they are on Scott's phone so I can't get to them.

Easter 2014

Yes the title says Easter. That's how far behind I am on my blog. We had our dinner and egg hunt at my brother Aaron's house this year. My nephew Adam helped us strategically hide the eggs. Lol

We started this egg hunt stuff when these kids were so little. I can't believe how big they are. Back row: Tyler, Ethan, Brandon, Jordan. Front row: Caroline, Dalton, Jaymie, Adam, and Kasey. Matthew is too much of a teenager to egg hunt with us. Not sure where Julia was either. Julia??? Where are thou??

This is a rare moment. My kid sitting close together with their knees touching, when they have a huge couch they could spread out on. happy!
